Aalberts hydronic flow control, with its two main brands Flamco and Comap, is expanding substantially and bundling its corporate activities at the newly built headquarters in Almere, the Netherlands. The building, which meets the BREEAM “Outstanding” rating, houses an extended production site, enlarged warehouse and logistics capacity, a new R&D facility, offices and a high-tech training centre.
The new headquarters brings work flows to the next level: “By uniting several locations under one roof, we boost overall efficiency,” says Maarten van de Veen, Executive Director at Aalberts hydronic flow control. “Our production and warehouse space is now much larger. Our customers benefit from this, as we will expand our production capacity and therefore can offer an even wider range of products directly from stock.” Located in the centre of Europe, the logistics routes remain short.
The headquarters also houses a brand-new high-tech training facility to educate and upskill installers, building owners and other stakeholders on how to use the products and upgrade the sustainability of heating and cooling installations. “If we can make buildings greener, the planet will become greener as well,” adds Maarten van de Veen. Aalberts hydronic flow control takes their responsibility for a more sustainable word seriously. The new headquarters features a state-of-the-art cooling and heating installation, which offers high comfort and operates without using fossil energy and with maximum energy efficiency. For this, among other things, the building was rated "Outstanding" by BREEAM.
„In the same way as we did for our new headquarters, we develop products and systems for projects that help our clients achieve their sustainability goals and reduce energy consumption as well as climate-damaging CO2 emissions,” concludes Executive Director van de Veen. “We are at the heart of every great building. This is our contribution to a more sustainable world.”
