The MultiSkin Synthetic Press fittings for multilayer pipe.
A range of synthetic fittings from 16 to 63 mm.
MultiSkin press fittings are compatible with TH, H and U profiles.
Immediate verification of proper crimping with the Visu-Control ring.
Low pressure loss across the fittings.
The Comap MultiSkin system for multilayer pipe combines all the qualities of plastic and metal solutions. A light and flexible tube with significant resistance to expansion (inner layer of aluminium). A high quality synthetic PPSU fitting, quick to install and secjured by a removable crimp indicator. Synthetic crimp fittings are provided with EPDM O-rings and feature the no crimp, no seal function (if a fitting is not crimped, it allows water to pass through or pressure drops where pressure tests are carried out using air).
Advantages
Performance
Crimping solution allows connecting a fitting in seven seconds and avoids the risks related to the welding.
Crimp fittings compatible with TH, H and U profiles, with different tool brands.
Improved hydraulics with a reduction of pressure losses of 7% on average compared to former synthetic fittings.
Safety
Removable Visu-Control® ring, allowing visual and tactile control of a crimp.
The "no crimp, no seal" technology: if not crimped the connection allows water to pass during pressure tests.
Protective cap to prevent impurities from penetrating.
Applications
MultiSkin press fittings are designed for the following applications:
Sanitary water: +5 °C to +95 °C (operating temperature) and 10 bar (maximum operating pressure).
Heating and cooling: -10 °C to +95 °C (operating temperature) and 10 bar (maximum operating pressure).
Rainwater: -10 °C to +95 °C (operating temperature) and 10 bar (maximum operating pressure).
Since 1921, Comap has been driving intelligent management of water and energy through its thermal and sanitary products that increase comfort in buildings. It is part of the stocklisted company Aalberts NV, instituted in 1975. Along with Flamco, which produces high-quality components for use in HVAC systems since 1956, the Aalberts hydronic flow control business unit was constituted. Stronger together, Comap and Flamco will continue to build mission critical technologies to manage heating and cooling humanly with better financial and environmental efficacy. From source to emitter we partner with our customers to engineer seamless energy efficient hydronic systems for their building requirements.
